I'm a journalist with over 20 years in the Greek media — including Naftemporiki, ANT1 Radio and ANT1 TV — and I studied journalism at the University of Urbino "Carlo Bo" in Italy. I founded The Wine Lovers Greece to give Greek wine the editorial coverage it deserves, and built this English edition for an international audience of sommeliers, hospitality professionals, and food & wine travellers.
Alongside the publication, I work on digital strategy and applied AI, and I'm a PhD candidate researching knowledge management, neuromarketing and ethics. The through-line is the same one that started in the newsroom: getting the facts right, and telling the story well.
What I write about
Indigenous Greek varieties (Assyrtiko, Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero and many more), PDO and PGI regions, producer profiles, food and wine pairings, and the broader cultural context of Greek wine. The goal is rigour without dryness — long-form pieces that are precise, well-sourced, and pleasant to read.

Every article is reviewed against authoritative sources before publication: Wines of Greece, the EU PDO/PGI register, individual producer publications, and the major wine literature including Jancis Robinson MW, Karen MacNeil, Konstantinos Lazarakis MW, and Decanter. Where facts cannot be verified, they are not stated.
